Especially, people who travel frequently for business or vacation purposes should know these tips. It is also very much better to pack the luggage repair parts when you go out for a trip.

  • Zipper problems are the common problems you find with luggage during travel. Wax sticks or candles make the zipper work back normally. So, ensure that you take a pack of wax sticks and candles with you when going out.
  • Often, buttons come off from luggage. It makes you frustrating and there are also chances of loss of any valuable properties in the bag. Carrying spare buttons is, therefore, necessary. Also, keep the patching and sewing kit and sew the buttons when they are lost.
  • Spare parts of luggage like handle, wheels or any other accessories should also be carried.
  • Other common problems of luggage are dented luggage and rips in vinyl or leather. Any repairs on the metal or hard plastic can be done easily. A block of wood can be placed on the dent on the inside of the piece of luggage. Then, slowly pound it out. In order to repair leather or vinyl, proper repair kits should be purchased.
