Different designs of Pot Holders

Pot Holder is a small fabric pad which is used to handle hot utensils while cooking. They are very helpful since it is a must have item in the kitchen. We too have some holders which are made up of steel and iron but these are traditional things which are used mostly by all the households. The fabric used to design these pot holders should be a good insulator so that it does not allow any heat to pass through it. These pot holders are usually made with cotton because it is more durable and heat resistant. They are good absorbers of moisture and provide plenty of insulation.

Depending up on the requirement, these pot holders are made in to different styles and patterns. Let us check few of them.

1. Hand Woven Pot Holders: Hand woven pot holders are made by weaving the fabric with hand. Once the fabric is hand woven it is stitched in to a pot holder and can be made in to different sizes and shapes.

 2. Machine Printed: Machine printed pot holders are generally printed using machines. The fabric may be handmade or machine made but once the fabric made in to a pot holder it will be printed in to the desired pattern using a machine printer.

 3. Embroidered Pot Holders: Some people generally use these pot holders just to decorate their kitchens by just hanging them. For those people these embroidered pot holders are very helpful.

 4. Hand Painted: These kind of pot holders are also easily available. Or else you can simply get some plain pot holders and can paint them using fabric paints.

These are different varieties and patterns of pot holders which are generally used.
