How Does a Car Cooling Systems Works

When the fluid is cooled then the engine will observe more heat, but the job of the water pump is to keep the fluid moving through the system of hidden passages and plumbing.

To make sure that the coolant will stays above certain temperature the thermostat should be placed in between the radiator and the engine. The thermostat will blocks the coolant flow to the radiator by forcing the fluid to directly back to the engine instead through a bypass, if the temperature of the coolant falls below the temperature. In this way the coolant will continue to rotate until it reaches certain temperature then at that point the thermostat will open a valve that allow the coolant back through the radiator. In this way the car cooling system will work.
